Getting Here: Fly to Faro or Lisbon. Our apartment is approximately 45 minutes drive from Faro airport, and about 2 and a half hours from Lisbon airport. We're located at Praia da Rocha, Portimao and only minutes from the main highway - A22 that accesses the entire Algarve region.

Further Information: We're a short 5 minute drive from the small fishing village of Alvor, and 2 minutes from the 2nd largest Algarve city of Portimao. The breathtaking seaside village of Carvoeiro is a 10 minute drive

Go for a boat ride through the caves in the city of Lagos, just 18km away, or spend the day in a stunning town called Albufeira, only 33km away. Just north is the spa town of Caldas de Monchique that has been used since Roman times. Seville, Spain is only a 2 hour drive away.

There is a shopping centre approximately 10 minutes drive away that includes a major supermarket (Modelo), large electrical goods store, bank, pharmacy, and clothing boutiques.

Family attractions close by include Aqualand and Zoomarine (swim with dolphins). There are watersports and fishing trips from the beach, and Jeep safaris into the mountains of Monchique. Trips to Portuguese nights and other more traditional things like castles, vineyards, fortresses, and Portuguese towns. A frequent bus service leaves from the promenade to Portimao.
